Final Fantasy Tactics is getting a remake in The Ivalice Chronicles

Remassers and remakes seem to be a penny a dozen today, but here is one for which I am selfishly delighted. Square Enix announced during the State of PlayStation State of Play which revisits the RPG chapter of the 1997 strategy of its famous franchise. Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles should be released on September 25, 2025 for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.

This updated version of the turn -based strategy game introduces welcome additions to the original. You will find new graphics, an updated user interface and a dialogue expressed in the improved version. It also provides improvements in quality of life, such as a level of difficulty more suited to beginners. But if you want to immerse yourself in nostalgia and the challenge, you can come back to the original graphics, the gameplay and the translation in English. The original version also has some modern upgrades, such as an automatic reduction system.

As a person who has timed several hundred hours in the Fire Emblem series, I have always had Tactics Final Fantasy hovering in my queue to play. Whether you are a beginner like me or you already know the political intrigues of TacticalThis fall seems to be an excellent change to check the game.
