Sports Director of Florida A & M Was arrested for allegedly stolen more than $ 24,000 to his former employer.
Angela Suggs went to Leon County prison on Monday and faces several accusations, including a flight and fraud crime. Suggs, which was then released on bail, also faces four leaders of false complaints on travel vouchers, all of which are crimes in Florida.

Suggs is accused of using a business credit card for personal use, doing metallic transport, cash withdrawals and making personal purchases in casinos during work trips when it was CEO of Florida Sports Foundation.
Last fall, an investigation was launched by the Florida law department After receiving a criminal reference from the Inspector General of the Florida Ministry of Commerce.
The purchases of Suggs’ commercial credit cards were verified, and this has shown that it would have falsified travel vouchers by depositing them in the form of meals or claimed that they had been made by accident. Suggs would not have reimbursed Florida Sports Foundation for personal expenses either.

Suggs, 55, was hired by Florida A&M, which she graduated, almost at the same time when the investigation was launched. She has been CEO of Florida Sports Foundation for seven years.
“Florida A & M University is aware of allegations involving our athletics director Angela Suggs, while working with a former employer,” said the acting president of Florida A & M Timothy Beard Declaration at WTXL.
“Although the question is not linked to its functions as an employee of the Famu, we monitor the situation and respond to the future, if necessary.”

Suggs had already hired her new role as a former NBA player, Charlie Ward, was brought as a chief coach of the school basketball school. He hopes to bring the rattlers to the NCAA tournament, a place where they have not been for almost 20 years.
