Tuesday, New York is using the choice of choice classified during its primary elections mayors Democrats, and this could have a significant impact on the result given the striking contrast between the two most frequent candidates: Andrew Cuomo and Zohran Mamdani.

Supporters of the system say that this encourages citizens to be more invested in the result, and they do not have to compromise with their first choice.

Cuomo: experienced, controversial
