Four killed in Kyiv in new Russian aerial attack

At least four people were killed in a Russian missile and a Russian drone attack on the Ukrainian capital, according to the Minister of the Interior.

In an article on social networks, Ihor Klymenko says that residential areas, hospitals and sports infrastructure have been affected.

“An entire section of a high-rise residential building was destroyed” in the most affected Shevchenkivskyi district, he said, adding that some people are trapped under the rubble.

In the Kyiv region, a woman was killed and two other people injured in the Russian air attack, Mykola Kalashnyk, regional chief said.

The Russian army did not comment on the issue.

Ukraine DSNS’s emergency service claims that 13 people – including two children and a pregnant woman – were injured in kyiv.

He displayed images showing that shocked residents were far from a destroyed high -rise building that was still burning.

A number of flames are reported in the capital.

An entrance to one of the city’s underground metro stations was damaged in the Russian attack, according to local officials.

Many Kyiv residents spent the night shelter in such stations.
