But this time is different. This time, the normal tricks on which the network turns during periods of crisis will not free it in trouble. This time, in court, the network will have to present an honest argument and focused on the facts.

Fox News is about to enter the real spin area, where deception is strictly prohibited. Where he is not in charge. And where her senior executives like Rupert Murdoch and Suzanne Scott and hosts like Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity cannot simply ignore a request for comments and resort, instead, to attack “the media” on the antenna.

In this context, where lies cannot be reversed and the truth cannot be distorted beyond reality to adapt to a dishonest story, it will be fascinating to see how the network leaves. If the hearings prior to the trial are an indicator, it will not be pretty. The case did not even start and the president’s judge has already lost his patience with the Fox legal team and put them in notice.
