Tom Felton will soon return to Draco Malfoy, but it is not on the upcoming “Harry Potter” HBO Max TV show or in some of the unreported sequel to the movie. Instead, he is due to work on a project that is likely to be well familiar with Franchise fans.
For the first time, Felton saw “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” in the West End of London in 2022. During this time he also gave an interview SovereignReviewing that he might be willing to check his role in Draco Malfoyna “Harry Potter” in some way:
“I would lie if I said I wouldn’t consider it. I really don’t miss Draco Malfoya, but I’m very gently tied to him.”
These comments are now more relevant than ever. Felton appeared on June 5 at the “Today” exhibition (through People) reports that from 11 November 2025, he will start a 19 -week notch as an adult Dracona “Harry Potter and Cursed Child” Production on Broadway. Now 37, Felton returns to his iconic role – and the play set 19 years after the end of the “Harry Potter and Death Hallows” movie is the perfect opportunity for him to do so. Understandably, the actor admitted that he was quite emotional about his future gig in a lyrical theater:
“It’s a very pinching situation. I constantly think I was dreaming. I get rid of that character 16 years ago and now I get the opportunity to get back to his shoes this time in a new story-like Draco as an adult, which is very exciting.”
“Harry Potter” Franchise has been in the spotlight for more than one reason over the years. Several “Harry Potter” stars have been condemned by Joanne Rowling’s Anti-Trans commentswhile The Internet was confused by his participation in the upcoming HBO Max “Harry Potter” TV show As soon as it was announced in 2023.
Tom Felton’s Franchising program can pay attention to his own comments about the situation. Historically, Felton has not been one of the loudest “Harry Potter” aluminum when it comes to condemning Rowling’s hate speech. However, in an independent interview, he discussed the beliefs and his view that the film feature and the author are separate entities:
“I mean that the obvious things to be said are that I am a choice, the speech science, the person’s impartial rights and the love of the human being. And whatever that is not those things, I don’t really have much time. It is also a reminder that as much as already is the founder of the founder [these] Stories, he was not part of the film making process as much as some people might think. I think I remember seeing him only once or twice. Honestly, with my friends, we all have different opinions from different things, and we celebrate our choices. It is certainly not a pleasure to put cross people on people who may have said things that we disagree with. “
Jack Thorne has written about the original story, Rowling and John Tiffany, “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” premiere in 2016. In 2021, Chris Columbus (who directed the first two “Harry Potter” films) expressed that he was willing to direct the film’s adapt to the original key line. However, if it has ever happened, it is difficult to imagine song Rowling critics like Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, who checks the franchise service.
