Highlights From World’s First Humanoid Robot Kickboxing Tournament

China recently organized a kickboxing tournament for humanoid robots and we have compiled all the strengths in one place.

Six UniLee G1 Humanoid Robots and humans operating them fought for first place in what was presented as “the first combat competition in the world with exclusivity of humanoid robots”.

Each “fighter” was a UNired G1 Edu model, the most advanced robot in the G1 range of Unidree, armed with special combat formation, including straight punches, hooks, kicks and knees.

These robots can be controlled by voice command, movement detection or remote control. UNiree says that each control method has its advantages and disadvantages. Remote controls are used to control robots in this competition because they have lower latency than voice commands and are easier to learn.

I arrived behind the orders of Robot G1 from UNiree to CES And society Go2 Pro Robot at CNET HQ. I found the remote controls very intuitive and similar in the video game controllers with which I grew up.
