This article contains spoilers “Ironheart” periods 1-3.
There are many MCU characters whose stories have differed from their comic origin. Kamala Khan (Iman Vellan) had similar abilities as Reed Richards’ embryo forces on the page, that were changed in his exhibition for crystal formation skills. Also Baron Zemo (Daniel Bruhl) moved Be a comic more accurate The son of a former captain America enemy to the Elite and the Sokovian soldier, who is looking for justice in the loss of his family. Now Riri Williams, aka Ironheart (Dominique Thorne), is the latest hero with some acts of his back. The difference is that this feels more of a duty than an essential part of storytelling.
In cartoons, Ironheart’s story begins with gear as Tony Stark visits and supports Williams’ work, later followed by an artificial AI, modeled after Stark himself. It is a failed vow that kicks after Stark goes into a coma after the events of the Civil War, but he sends a digital Doppelgänger to help Riri to build his own suit. Doing this will strengthen the bond between the two characters, just like the one we have already seen between Tom Holland’s Spider-Man and Down Man. The problem with the exhibition is, of course, that McU Tony Stark has been dead in recent years, and even if he was not, Downey’s return would have pushed the “Ironheart” budget into a very expensive area. As a result, even mentioning Stark’s name seems difficult, emphasizing inconsistency in Riri’s trip, which will take some time to win.
Robert Downney Jr. may have given Thorne some words of wisdom When he took on the role, but it is about as far as it goes to McU aluminum. In the first episode of “Ironheart”, Tony Stark’s name is thrown around a fair bit, given that Riri is part of MIT and plans to expand the ideas and creations of a late Iron man on his own designs. Although he may use his name as a defense to continue his work, it simply does not sit properly that he is supposed to respect Tony so much. (It has been developed to an almost horrible level trying to follow the footsteps of Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel.) At this point, Rir should indeed either regularly look at the museum’s works or not at all. Instead, the show presents this weak interval, which only feels like a schedule until it makes a much wiser decision with Riri’s backrest.
Just like so many heroes, Williams’ attempt to do good comes from personal tragedy. The program, such as cartoons, reveals that Rir’s best friend Natalie (Lyrics Ross) and Rir’s stepfather Gary (Laroyce Hawkins) were victims of shooting a drive. Fortunately, however, through this traumatic event, where the show speeds things up with Riri’s creative process and brings Natalie back to life much earlier than in the original Ironheart cartoon.
Although Riri made his cartoon in 2016 “Invincible Iron Man” #7, he did not get his own independent story before “Ironheart” #1 in 2018. There is a lot of time to celebrate the hero of the name Stark, AI or otherwise that he simply hasn’t had MCU. What a complete timing then, just like in his first cartoon issue, his new ai, Natalie, wakes up in the first episode – and it’s not a moment too soon.
The significant intervention of Stark and his name too much to swipe quickly as a result of Lyrinen Ross’s arrival as a former Thorne friend as a converting-super-And-Digital assistant. This goes on to focus on the more interesting elements that are relevant in Riri’s MCU version, not on the cartoon version of which the show draws. Admittedly, it would have been great to see some kind of interaction between the Ironheart and the hero, from whom he takes his name, but unfortunately we cannot have everything. However, it arouses some curiosity of Rir’s future in this ever -growing universe.
There is no story where Ironheart appears next after its independent exhibition, but it is interesting whether it will happen during the period before or after the “Avengers: Doomsday” events. When Riri can already touch the Stark’s legacy, how could Riri react when a man in the green cloak and the fascinating highlight shows who looks just like a man who he modeled his big inventions? If and when this happens, it can really give Rir a better chance of interacting with a man who has influenced his life, unlike the debut series that has struggled to show it effectively.
