Mandarin Tanner Martin Has died after five years of battle with terminal cancer. He was 30 years old.
Martin had recently become a father for the first time and welcomed his daughter with his wife Shay Wright in May. At the age of 25, he was diagnosed with a phase 4 colon cancer in November 2020. He and Wright began sharing health updates on social media.
Before his death Martin recorded the videowhich was sent via Instagram on Wednesday 25 June.
“Hey, I am, Tanner, if you look at this, I’m dead,” he said and added, “I had hell of life. I decided to make this video, reporting my death because I saw someone doing so, and I think it is a good opportunity to get all your thoughts.”

He added that “life was awesome. I really enjoyed it when I was here. Hope I believe there is something after that. I’m excited to meet these people, and hopefully we are now hanging out and having fun with all you.”
Martin mentioned his dead family member and said, “There are only a lot of people that I am excited to see them and get excited to see them in pain and only happy.”
