Jerusalem – Israel expelled activist Greta Thunberg on Tuesday, the country’s foreign ministry said one day after the Gaza-The linked ships to which she was with 11 other people was seized by the Israeli army. Thunberg went on a flight to France and then went to its country of origin, Sweden, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in an article on X. He published a photo of Thunberg, a climate activist Who avoids trips by plane, sitting on a plane.
Thunberg was one of the 12 passengers on Madleen, a ship carrying aid to Gaza on a mission to protest against the current war of Israel and in light on the humanitarian crisis of the Palestinian territory, according to the organizers, the Freedom Flotilla Coalition.
Israeli naval forces seized the boat without incident early Monday at around 125 miles from the Gaza Coast, according to the coalition, which, with rights for defense, condemned Israel’s actions in violation of international law. Israel rejects this accusation because it says that such ships intend to violate what it supports, it is the legal naval blockade of its soldier.

The Freedom Flotilla Coalition said that three activists, including Thunberg, had been expelled with a journalist. He said that it had encouraged part of the group to do so so that they could speak freely about their experiences.
Eight other passengers refused deportation and were detained in detention before their case was heard by the Israeli authorities. Adalah, a legal rights group in Israel representing activists, said the eight should be translated to a court later on Tuesday.
“Their detention is illegal, politically motivated and a direct violation of international law,” the coalition said in a statement. He called for the release of the remaining passengers without expulsion and said that their lawyers would require that they be authorized to finish their trip to Gaza.
Sabine Haddad, spokesperson for the Ministry of the Interior Israel, said that activists who were expelled on Tuesday had given up their right to appear before a judge. Those who have not faced it and will be detained for 96 hours before being expelled, she said.
Rima Hassan, a French member of the European Parliament who is of Palestinian origin, was also one of the passengers on board Madleen. It has already been forbidden to enter Israel because of its opposition to Israeli policies to the Palestinians. It was not clear if she was immediately expelled or held.
The French Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jean-Noel Barrot, said on Tuesday that one of the French activists detained had signed an expulsion order and would leave Israel on Tuesday for France. The other five refused. He said that all activists had received consular visits.

“It is unforgivable, it is a violation of our rights. It is a hacker attack in international waters,” Toribio told journalists.
On Monday, Adalah, the rights defense group, said that Israel had “no legal authority” to take control of the ship, because the group declared that it was in international waters and that it was heading to Israel but at the “territorial waters of the Palestine state. “”
“The arrest of non -armed activists, which has made a civilian way to provide humanitarian aid, is equivalent to a serious violation of international law,” Adalah said in a statement.
Amnesty International said that Israel was kicking international law with the naval raid and called on the country to release activists immediately and unconditionally.
Israel said its actions in accordance with international law.
Israel considered the ship to be a stroke of advertising, calling it the “selfie yacht”. Israeli officials said that the flotilla provided “meager” help with what was equivalent to a truck of goods.
The flotilla clearly indicated that its repeated attempts to reach the Palestinian territory by sea with ships with aid and activists aim to raise awareness of the Israeli blockade because they aim to obtain food in the enclave.
Israel and Egypt have imposed on varying degrees of Gaza since Hamas has seized the power of rival Palestinian forces in 2007. Israel says that blocking is necessary to prevent Hamas from importing weapons, while criticisms say that this is equivalent to collective punishment of the Palestinian population of Gaza.
