First on Fox: California Gop Congressman Darrell Issa Calls on an investigation into the allegations that the Los Angeles police service did not respond quickly to protect the ice police officers while violence broke out in the city on Friday evening.
Issa, which represents the 48th district of the California Congress and is a main member of the Chamber’s legal committee, said in a press release on Tuesday, which he calls for a “complete and complete investigation of the Congress” on the LAPD response time to help the Ice Officers who, according to a DHS press release, waited two hours to obtain aid.

LAPD chief Jim McDonnell, who quickly released a press release Friday, reassuring the public that the ministry does not participate in immigration activities, postponed DHS request at a Sunday press conference.
“When we heard that, I think anyone who is a police officer could not believe it, and certainly anyone with LAPD could not imagine how it could happen,” said McDonnell Tell journalists. “Well, it didn’t happen.”
McDonnell said the real response time was 40 minutes due to traffic.
In a statement to Fox News Digital on Monday, DHS assistant secretary, Tricia McLaughlin, held the initial complaint in the department.

“The fact remains that it took two hours to the Los Angeles police service to answer,” said McLaughlin. “During this period, more than 1,000 rioters surrounded a federal building for the application of the law and agents of the application of ice laws, cut tires, defeated buildings and property funded by taxpayers. DHS is grateful that the LAPD intensifies to help restore public order.”
Fox News Digital contacted the LAPD to comment.
