As many fans remember, the first major public setback against Rowling came in December 2019 when he made titles for his comments about the transgender community.
Free support for Maya Forstater, a researcher who lost his job to tweet his belief that sex is biologically determined, Rowling sent a Tweets series that many considered transphobic.
He tweeted to support the Forster, calling the shooting “unfair” and claiming that “sex is real”. Comments were criticized by many, especially comments from the LGBTQ+ community, which saw his attitude as harmful to transgender people, especially transsexual women.

Rowling’s tweets aroused intense debate about the gender identity and women’s rights, and they expressed concern that she mixed the sex identity of biological sex.
Rowling’s controversial views on transgender topics continued in 2020, which led to a public review.
In June of the same year, he published an essay on his website, in which he repeated his belief in gender and gender. In the essay, Rowling claimed that the importance of recognizing gender law laws should not be impaired by the concept of sex identity. For Pascal, the question is close to home when her younger sister Lux came up as a transsexual in 2021. Now 32, Lux has openly distributed her transition to her brother, offering unhorns at every point.
Earlier this year, Pascal moved to Instagram to share an offer, “The world without Trans has never been and will never come.”
He added, “I can’t think of anything more damaging and smaller and pathetic than terrorizing the smallest, most vulnerable community, who wants nothing but the right to exist.”
Despite their very public dispute, both Pascal and Rowling are still firmly in their views.
Although the actor is still committed to defending his beliefs and calling what he sees as harmful by behavior, the author has made it clear that he is not silent, even loudly by critics.
