Jay-Z’s Accuser Slams Investigators For Twisting Her Words In Explosive Audio
Jay-Z‘s rape accuser has denied recanting her accusation against the rapper after a bombshell audio was released by private investigators, in which the Jane Doe seemed to admit that he never raped her.
According to the alleged victim, the investigators also misrepresented her statements following an unexpected visit to her home in Alabama for an impromptu interview.
Jay-Z’s accuser also denied saying her attorney, Tony Buzbeepushed her to sue the Roc Nation CEO, a lawsuit that has since been dismissed with prejudice.

Earlier in the week, Jay-Z’s attorneys released an audio recording obtained by private investigators in which his rape accuser admitted that the alleged incident never happened.
In the recording, she could be heard telling the investigators that Jay-Z was at the party where the alleged incident occurred but that he never engaged in any sexual activity with her.
For unknown reasons, Jane Doe has denied the admissions in new filings, claiming that the investigators twisted her words.
“I never stated (whether once or 4 times) that Mr. Carter did not assault me,” she said per TMZ, refuting the investigators’ earlier comments on the audio.

She also mentioned that the investigators visited her uninvited, and she was not in any way “calm, natural, or at ease” and “trembled the entire time” they spoke.

Regarding whether Buzbee pressured her to sue Jay-Z, Jane Doe denied making such a statement to the investigators or any other person.
However, this aspect of the situation remains unclear, as Jane Doe could also be heard in the previously released audio saying Buzbee was the “one that kind of pushed me towards going forward with him, with Jay-Z.”
Just like the alleged victim, Buzbee has also slammed the tape and reiterated that the alleged rape did occur.
“The tape is a fraud,” he said per TMZ. “They tormented and harassed and tricked that poor woman and took what she said out of context and secretly recorded her.”
He added about Jane Doe, “She stands by her claim that Jay-Z assaulted her. She has never wavered on that point once.”

In the wake of the released video, Jay-z’s lawyer, Alex Spiro, expressed his hope that it would help put an end to the rape claims against the music mogul.
To further clear his name, he had also filed a suit against the alleged victim after her case was dismissed with prejudice.
In the lawsuit, the rapper accused the Jane Doe of propagating a false rape story to relevant parties despite allegedly admitting that the incident never happened.
He also claimed that his accuser had informed her lawyer that her claim wasn’t true, but he “pushed her to go forward with the false narrative of the assault by Mr. Carter in order to leverage a maximum payday.”
The rapper further mentioned that the rape lawsuit was an “evil conspiracy” to extort him of money in exchange for Jane Doe’s silence.

In February, Jay-Z’s rape accuser filed to dismiss her case against the music mogul in which she accused him and Sean “Diddy” Combs of sexually assaulting her when she was 13.
The said incident allegedly occurred at an MTV VMAs after-party in 2000.
Following the case dismissal, Jay-Z released a statement where he talked about how the accusations deeply traumatized his family.
“The trauma that my wife, my children, loved ones and I have endured can never be dismissed,” he wrote, per The Blast.
Jay-Z also slammed Buzbee, describing him as a “1-800 lawyer (who) gets to file a suit hiding behind Jane Doe, and when (he) quickly realize that the money grab is going to fail, (he) get to walk away with no repercussions.”
He further remarked that the civil suit was “without merit and never going anywhere,” but he still would not “wish this experience on anyone.”
The music mogul went on to call for the protection of victims and those falsely accused.

Sources close to the Carters revealed that music superstar Beyoncé felt “relieved” by the dismissal of the rape lawsuit against her husband.
“Relief is too simple a word to describe what Bey is feeling right now after Jay’s current legal issues were dropped,” an insider told the Daily Mail.
According to the source, the family tried to put on “brave faces behind the scenes,” seemingly by continuing their usual public activities despite the allegations.
They were spotted attending the premiere of Blue Ivy’s “Lion King” movie and also appeared at the 2025 Grammy Awards, where Beyoncé became the first Black woman in over half a century to win Best Country Album.
