The world -famous competitive eater has officially solved his dispute with Nathan’s famous and confirmed that he will be on stage again in the July Fourth July of this year’s Hot Dog.
The chestnut was previously banned from the 2024 competition after he had entered into an agreement with impossible foods, promoting their plant -based hot dogs. Nathan saw the immediate threat to their iconic All-Beek product and claimed to be violating their contract.
The approval agreement led to a major setback when Nathan pulled the plug in a long -term relationship just weeks before the annual event.
But now, Joey Chestnut is back and the buns are roasting.

“I’m excited to return to Nathan’s famous fourth July Hot Dog eating competition,” Kastanja said in her statement. “This event means to me the world. It is a loved tradition, a celebration of American culture and a huge part of my life.”
Although Kastanja acknowledged her partnership with the companies of the plant -based grocery room, he made it clear that he has never had a confusion about where his loyalty was. “For the sake of clarity: Nathan’s is the only hot dog company I’ve ever worked with,” he said. “I respect differences in interpretation, but I am grateful that we have found a common position.”

This “common field” is a whole new three -year approval that deals with Nathan and competitive eating of the International Association (IFOCE), which will organize an annual event on July 4.
“I’m excited to be back on the Coney Island stage, doing what I live in, and celebrate the fourth July hot dog in my hands! Stay hungry!” The chestnut was added.
He refused to reveal the economic details of the trade but confirmed USA Today Sports That he continues to work with impossible foods.

George Shea, founder of the IFOCE and Nathan competition announcer, confirmed that Kastanja is clearly competing.
“We are very excited about Joey back and believe that this will be the best competition of all time,” Shea told the USA Today Sports.
The record, when Kastanja was out of the competition last year, Patrick Bertoletti claimed the men’s title by eating 58 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes, at the age of 18 fell from Kastanja’s record 76.

“If they return to the same conditions we talked about last year, I would definitely consider it,” he said at the time. “I work with them to make sure there were no conflicts with other sponsors … But to be honest, I don’t think they want to go on this route. And yeah, that’s bummer. I love that competition.”

Drama started last year when Major League Eation announced, “We are devastating to learn that Joey Chestnut has decided to represent a competing brand that sells plant -based hot dogs instead of competing in Nathan’s famous July July Hot Dog.”
Then Joey clapped back by placing the record directly. “I have no contract with MLE or Nathan and they want to change the rules of recent years because it is related to other partners I can work with,” Kastanja said at the time. “This is apparently the foundation on which I will be banned and it will not affect the competition on July 4.”
Instead of competing in Nathan’s Nathan competition last year, Joey competed against Fort Bliss soldiers during the annual “Pop Goes the Fort Independence Day”.
In addition to the 16 wins of Nathan’s famous hot dog eating competition, Joey Chestnut has shown that she has a serious sweet tooth that breaks several discs in the dessert category.
In 2009, he ate 5.9 pounds of funnel cake in just 10 minutes. By 2013, he dropped amazingly in 121 twinkies in a minute, and in 2017 he polished 55 glazed monks in just eight minutes.
Only within weeks before the iconic competition fans can breathe relief, knowing that the hot dog king will return to their crown and probably break a few more discs in the process.
