Manchester United finally showed glimpses of what they could be under Ruben Amorim with a scintillating display to see off Real Sociedad in the Europa League on Thursday.

United swept aside the Liga club with Bruno Fernandes scoring a hat-trick, including two penalties, in a 4-1 win that completed a 5-2 aggregate triumph.

The challenge is to replicate that performance level on a regular basis, starting on Sunday at second-bottom Leicester City.

Leicester have a near full-strength squad to choose and are unchanged from their 1-0 defeat at Chelsea last Sunday, with only winger Abdul Fatawu unavailable.

Ricardo Pereira made a late cameo in that contest – the full-back’s first appearance for four months – and is on the bench again, with manager Ruud van Nistelrooy set to stick with his 5-2-1-2 formation.

Man United lineup v Leicester City

United have Manuel Ugarte available again and he replaces Casemiro in midfield, with Christian Eriksen supplanting forward Joshua Zirkzee.

Mason Mount will start on the bench and but centre-back Harry Maguire is not fit enough to be named in the squad.

Patrick Dorgu, who is serving the second game of a three-match domestic ban, makes way for Victor Lindelof in defence.
