Teacher launches a kickstarter for Clash of Clans: The Epic RaidA new table game based on the best -selling mobile game in Supercell.
The Kickstarter Crowdfunding campaign should be on June 17, but the team is already in progress to create the game on table, said Javon Frazier, CEO of Maestro Media, in an interview with Gamesbeat. The Clash of Clans table game is expected to be released in 2026.
The game co-designer is the designer of veteran table games Eric M. Lang. In an interview, Lang said that the game will have two to four players and that it will be a strategy title that will resonate with the Fans of Clash of Clans. Clash of Clans made its debut 13 years ago, but it still has 30 million active players per day.
“It is intended for a new giant audience of millions of players who are not necessarily used for board games, but who are used to large complicated application games,” said Lang. “Because Clash of Clans is a very deep, immersive and rich experience. So we want to take this and make it a table game. The big twist here is that there are two to four players at the table.”
In the game, Lang said that you are building your village, collect resources, create a load of units and that you were going to make a descent to collect resources. You rank in a ranking. It’s no different from the mobile game, but it takes about 90 minutes to play. From two people to six can play.
“We have just finished our rules book. Our rules of rules like 12 pages. I am very happy,” said Lang.
He added, he added: “You are a chief of clan, and you build a village. You build a village with all the cool resources you get from Clash of Clans – Gold, Elixir, free to play gems. And you build, literally, a war engine.”
The LANG (Marvel: United, Star Wars: The Card Game, XCOM: The Board Game, Blood Rage) and Ken Gruhl (Life in Reterra, Mantis, HAPPY Salmon) game designs have designed this clash of clan in the world of clan in a exciting new format.
The engine improves when buying better buildings, get more resources and create the most efficient village. You can score points with nice monuments and buildings and use resources to get more buildings or build loading units such as the barbarian, the archer, the pekka and the dragon. The goal will be to be the first player to get 40 points.
“This game is just dopamine all the time, right? I can set fire to your belongings. I get the points.
“For a board game, players as you have this fun puzzle. You simultaneously build a village for yourself to be an engine, and you build a playground for your opponents to be raid,” said Javon Frazier, CEO of Maestro Media, in an interview with Gamesbeat. “It’s fast, it’s deep strategic, but it is a complete reinvention. It is not only a recreation from one by one. It is a daring reimagination.”
As a table company, Maestro Media increases rapidly, with revenues up 300% in the past three years. Frazier said the company speaks with its partner Supercell, the manufacturer of Clash of Clans, almost every day.
Lang said: “So for me, Clash of Clans was a list of buckets. I don’t even know if Javon knew it, but like that, I played the game when it was released and I have a small list of licenses that I think I am like that. I want to reach new audiences, and I want to be the first table of table game for many different players.”
Frazier added: “I love our business that this company really focused on working with the best IP in the world. Obviously, we work with Disney on several games. We work with Hello Kitty. We work with smurfs. We work with Strawberry Shortcake. “
Frazier said Supercell had a support team and Lang is a genius.
Lang said: “I think that table games will always deliver. They do not pursue fashionable things. They don’t look for fashions or trends. They are looking for game licenses for poorly served markets. We want to make games that access your affectionate nostalgia for these properties and give it the respect it deserves.”
The company has 20 people. His past successes include the link from Isaac 2, which was a very successful table game.
Lang has been playing games for 28 years, but he said, “I want to play games for players who do not play on board games. There is no game like this on the market. It is a gateway game but also deep and rich. He thinks of the table game as proof of recession. ”
“The game never gets rid of,” he said.
As with previous campaigns, Maestro Media explains Kickstarter as a powerful tool to get involved directly
With fans and collaborate with the community of the first day. This approach strengthens the excitement and anticipation that lasts throughout the life cycle of the project. The first to engage will receive a miniature bonus of the gold barbarian.
Frazier said: “Clash of Clans: The Epic Raid is a revolutionary experience that gives life to the beloved universe as never before. With the genius of legendary designers Eric Lang and Ken Gruhl and our incredible partnership with Supercell, we have designed a game that will surprise and delight and will be an essential table adventure that captures the heart of Clash of Clash.
And Andrea Fasulo, responsible for the global license at Supercell, said in a press release: “We have always been passionate about the creation of memorable experiences for our players, and Clash of Clans: the epic raid is a fascinating new chapter of this trip. The partnership with the Maestro media allows us to put the strategy and the excitation of the clans conflict in a new means. “
