On Tuesday, a moderately high size earthquake of 5.8 coarse hit in Türkiye, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The Temblor has occurred at 2:17 am, Eastern European time at around 3 miles south of Içmeler, Turkey, the agency data shows.
While seismologists examine the available data, they can revise the indicated scale of the earthquake. Additional information collected on the earthquake can also encourage scientists to the USGS to update the Shake-Severity card.
