Minneapolis – Vance Boelter, the suspect accused of having fired on four minnesota state legislators, killing two, was captured on Sunday, several sources of application of the law confirmed to Fox News.
Boelter, 57, is accused of having killed President of the Minnesota Chamber, Melissa Hortman, And her husband, Mark, early Saturday morning in their home in Brooklyn Park in Minneapolis. He is also accused of having shot the state senator John Hoffman, also a democrat, and his wife, Yvette, in their neighboring Champlin house.
The Sibley County Sheriff Office told Fox News that Boelter “verbally” had identified the authorities who were looking for him in the region on Sunday evening.
The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office shared a photo of Boelter’s arrest, describing it as “the face of evil”.

“After relentless and determined police work, the killer is now in detention. Thanks to the dedication of several agencies working together with the support of the community, justice is one more step,” said the Sheriff’s office on Facebook.
Drew Evans, superintendent of Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA), said on Sunday that law enforcement officials were trying to locate and arrest Boelter with federal and local mandates.

“There is information that led us to do the research … in Sibley County,” said Evans, adding later that Boelter’s vehicle and a hat that seemed to belong to the suspect were located in this area. He encouraged anyone in the Sibley County region who sees something suspect to contact the police.

Evans said that the authorities review 400 advice and described Sunday’s search as “fluid”.

The authorities said the suspect had targeted the legislators during a planned attack, presenting himself at home with a police uniform and a mask.

Minnesota Democratic Senator Amy Klobuchar shared a message from Hoffman’s wife on Sunday, saying that the state senator was shot dead nine times and that she has eight.

Officials said Boelter had signs in his vehicle that read “no kings”. The Cities of the United States did not have a “kings” of demonstrations – expressing the disapproval of the Ice Raids of the Trump administration – scheduled for Saturday afternoon.
