The man accused of having brutally crucified a Rural Arizona The pastor not only admitted the alleged crime, but said that he planned to kill more than a dozen other Christian leaders.
Adam Sheafe, 51, said Fox 10 In an interview that he murdered Pastor Bill Schonmann, 76, head of the New River biblical chapel in New River, Arizona.
On April 28, Schonmann was found dead in his bed, his arms spread largely and pinned the wall behind him. The bizarre display left the community in shock.

Sheafe’s plan was to crucify 14 others Christian leaders No particular denomination, he told Fox 10, attributing his reason for belief that the Christian churches were led by their faithful by teaching them to follow Jesus, who says he is a false God.
He entitled his mission “Operation First Commandment”.
Sheafe was captured by the police near the chapel of the Holy Cross in Sedona, Arizona, where he planned to kill two priests, he said.

“The day I was going to execute this priest, I tried to climb to the back of his car. There was like a little lady on a bicycle that bothered me, and I was just going to enter the rear seat and tell him to go to his home,” said Sheafe.
He then refused to apologize for the kill presumed.
In an interview 12newsSheafe also explained how he had planned the murder of Schonmann.
“I saw that he had a biblical study on Wednesday evening, so I sat there and waited for them to arrive, so that I could locate which one was the priest, then I just followed him,” said Sheafe. “And then I returned Sunday to execute it and crucify it to this wall.”

He also said he wanted to be executed.
“Put me in the death corridor, define the date of execution for the moment,” said Sheafe. “The victims want it. The families of the victim want it. I want it, and the taxpayers want it.”

Sheafe was accused of first -degree murder in Maricopa County, but remains in the custody of Coconino County prison.
The Office of the County Prosecutor of Maricopa told Fox News Digital that the case was being revised and that, generally, all sentenced to first degree murder was subject to the death penalty.
It is not known if he has a lawyer, but Fox News Digital contacted the public defender’s office.
