new York The candidate for town hall Zohran Mamdani has doubled on his plan to tax “richer and white districts”, while adding that he thinks that the billionaires should not exist.
The Democratic socialist said on Sunday that his push to charge white taxpayers was not racist, despite his agenda explicitly targeting white majority areas.
“It’s just a description of what we are seeing at the moment,” Mamdani told “Meet the Press” on NBC on Sunday. “It is not motivated by the breed. It is more an assessment of what the districts are under taxed and over-worn.”
Mamdani’s proposal for Mamdani’s policy, “Stop the Sqeeze on the owners of NYC”, describes its plans to “move the tax burden of the owners over-surninated in the external districts to more expensive houses in richer and white districts”.
