Openai announced this week an improved version of its O3 AI Generative Reasoning model, saying that it has better performed on references and is designed to spend more time thinking about difficult problems. The new model, called O3-Prois now available for pro and team users in Cat And API users, and will come to business users and EDU next week.
In its publication notes, Openai said that the model is similar to O1-Pro, that users have favored for its skills in mathematics, science and coding. It incorporates improvements in O3 more recent modelWho can search for the web and use more reasoning skills.
“Because O3-Pro has access to the tools, the answers generally take longer than O1-Pro to finish,” said the company. “We recommend that you use it for difficult questions where reliability is more important than speed, and waiting for a few minutes to compromise.”
Kevin Weil, Openai product director, posted on X that the company is also lower of O3 in the 80%API, and these rate limits for O3 will be doubled for users more.
