A Chinese Paraglider survived propulsion accidentally propelled by tens of thousands of feet in the sky while testing equipment that he had recently bought.
Peng Yujiang, 55, began his flight at an altitude of about 984 feet in the qilian mountains in the North ChinaAccording to media relationships. A camera mounted on the glider captured the whole test.
Images of the incident defying death show a Peng Slipping over the cloudsHis face made pieces of ice as he tries to make a safe descent through episodes of confusion.
Peng was sucked in an upward current about 20 minutes after accidentally takeoff, according to a report by the provincial Gansu Aviation Sports Association.
The glider Hang was propelled to 27,800 feet in the air, but Peng had never intended to take off, says the report.

Yujiang, who has been setting up for about four and a half years, bought his equipment without doing a flight in advance, and tested various elements of the equipment on the ground when it was carried away, the report said.
Speaking of the test, he said. “It was terrifying … everything was white. I saw no direction. Without the compass, I would not have known what path I was going to. I thought I was flying straight, but in reality, I was turning,” he told China Media Group.
Peng was extremely fortunate to survive given the lack of oxygen with such strong altitudes, says the report, noting that he has just escaped death, after having maintained consciousness long enough to navigate through low oxygen levels and icy temperatures.
He stole only slightly lower than the summit of Mont Everest, which amounts to just over 29,000 feet.
“I wanted to descend quickly, but I simply couldn’t. I was raised more and more until I was inside the cloud,” he said, adding that he was the most terrified while trying to regain control of his paragliding against the powerful winds, and that he thinks that he may have lost consciousness on the way to the ground.
“I could feel the oxygen becoming thin and my hands freeze. They were exposed all the time – I did not even think of putting them in my mittens,” added Peng.
On May 26, his colleague of Paragliding, Mr. or, said that man had become a mythical figure of their paragliding circle: “It is now the person who broke the altitude barrier. He could apply for a world record in Guinness, because no one else has reached such heights without carrying an oxygen reservoir. ”
Peng is now under investigation by the Chinese authorities and has been suspended to fly for six months because his flight was not authorized, according to the state of China Global times.
Peng maintains that he had not planned to fly at all when he was raised in the atmosphere by strong winds, and that he simply tested his parachute on the ground when he was pushed into the clouds.
