If a disorder desk is a geniusI could be one of the most intelligent people on the market.
Wherever I worked, whether in an office or in my own house, I started with the purest to keep my desk clean and without congestion, only to weigh the time and the energy cost of constantly storing things just to remove them the next day. Spoiler alert: Most of the time, it is not worth it. One of the most important points, AHEM, in my declining process, is the number of sticky notes that I use. Classic post-it-notes notes, sticky notes in the shape of flowers, novelty pads, band flags, all have a place in my arsenal of office supplies.
I write everything by hand, with a pen. And I mean everything. Not only in my paper planner But also on the sticky notes that I have in almost all the rooms in my house. I have them in the kitchen, in my bedside table, in the car. And I will always do it, as it is been scientifically proven The fact that the writing of things stimulates learning and memory, because writing by hand active of more varied connections in the brain.
I love my application of notes as much as anyoneBut if I type something that I have to do in the future, I must not only remember that I did it, but I hope I titled it with something available. If I write it on a sticky note, I will not only remember, but I can stick it exactly where I know that I will see it. The doctor’s office unexpectedly calls while I am in another room? Sticky note. Reminder for my husband who was still sleeping and who does not have his phone to be silent, so I can’t send him a text? Sticky note. Sticky notes for my child. Sticky notes for my friends. Sticky notes in my car, in my garage … It is an infallible system.
However, the worst offender of the tighting notes is by far my workstation. If I receive a kind of exploitable instruction, whether in a meeting, an email, a soft message or via a telephone call, it is immediately written on a sticky and slapped note on my planner or, if it is in the longer term, pinned to the wall above my office, which is lined with Amazon wall tiles And currently resembles the skin of a disappointing piñata.
However, I had not really thought about what these notepads visually made for my space until I see the Poppin sticking memo balloon, the 4.5-inch dodecadon that looks like a girly football ball but is actually an office ornament that you can use. This is the stack of sticky notes transformed into decoration.

The Mémo sticky ball was born in a 3m conference room, nor in the brain of Romy and Michelle, but at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Each year, the school focused on STEM holds a design initiative called MetaprojetAssociating companies with students laughs to create products by focusing on the theme “Design is one”, the official philosophy of the Vignelli Center for Design Studies de l’École. (Named in honor of Italian designers Lella and Massimo Vignelli, the latter whose modernist conceptions incorporating geometric forms.)
