The Prime Minister of Alberta, Danielle Smith, is expected to greet the world leaders when they arrive at Calgary airport for the G7 summit.
Managers should start approaching on Sunday for the three -day event in the Kananiskis Wilderness southwest of Calgary.
Smith’s office says that it should accommodate representatives of non -member countries Monday evening during a reception in Calgary and organize bilateral meetings throughout the summit.
The details of the meetings and who Smith will meet has not been disclosed.
The first has already made international relations a characteristic of its administration.
The Prime Minister of Alberta made the headlines in January when she visited the House of Florida by American President Donald Trump before he took office, in order to challenge his prices on Canadian products.
In April, Smith met political counterparts in Japan and South Korea to consolidate the energy and food export markets of Alberta.

Earlier this month, Smith was back in the American capital for meetings and a forum on energy while Trump doubled his prices on steel and aluminum imports.
Smith said at the time that there was a “breakthrough” in conversations with the Americans on the role of Canada in the quest for the United States for energy domination.
The annual Summit of the Group of Seven (G7) brings together leaders of seven of the world’s advanced economies: Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, United Kingdom and the United States, as well as the European Union.
Canada assumed the group’s presidency for 2025, thus welcomed the G7 summit this year from June 15 to 17 in the Alberta Rockies west of Calgary.
As a host, Prime Minister Mark Carney can invite all the leaders he chooses – even those of countries outside the G7 Club.
His guest list includes Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, President of Brazil Luiz Inácio Lula Da Silva and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
