The Russian president says that the Iranian nuclear program continues and that society remains united behind political leadership.
Russian President Vladimir Putin refused to comment on speculations that Israel or the United States could try to assassinate the Iranian Iranian chief of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and continued to put pressure on a political solution to the Iran-Israeli conflict at a meeting with international journalists.
