Resolution reveals setting of Demeo’s Battlemarked RPG

The resolution games this week revealed more information on its next Dungeons and Dragons– RPG based, Battlemarkedwhich should be launched later this year on the Demeo company platform. The first adventure in Battlemarked takes place in Neverwinter Wood, a familiar place for fans of the franchise. The studio also works with history designer Matt Sernett, which is the narrative example of Battlemarked. Sernett previously worked on the D&D Table game and consulted for games such as Baldur’s Gate and Icewind Dale.

In addition to the 2025 parameter and launch window, Resolution has also announced Battlemarked launch platforms: it arrives in Steam and PlayStation 5, with a VR version in work for Steamvr, PSVR2 and Meta Quest 3. It is also available for Wishlist on several platforms today. While Neverwinter Wood is the framework of the first adventure in Battlemarked, the developer already has a second adventure in preparation, which will be revealed later this year.

Sernett said in a press release: “When Dungeons and Dragons Launched the fifth edition in 2014, the first adventure that many players ventured into Neverwinter Wood, and I can think of no better place for Battlemarked players to start their trip. The first adventure in Demeo X Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked will bring players to familiar places, including Cragmaw Castle and Mount Hotenow. The world of D&D is as much part of the story as its characters, and we are looking forward to the players plunging into its dangers and their delights. »»
