RGG’s Project Century is an action game called Stranger Than Heaven

The studios of Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku revealed more details on their historic title previously teasing, which was revealed for the first time to the Game Awards from last year and the Code Project Century. In a trailer presented at the Summer Game Fest 2025, RGG revealed that the game is called Stranger Than Heaven. The trailer for the Reveal title did not reveal any details on the release date of the game or the platforms, but it showed an overview of its action gameplay.

The protagonist of the game, which gives his name of Mako Daito, seems to be a kind of subterfuge agent. He implies that he may not be Japanese and has striking blue eyes which appear in good place in the art of the character. The description of the trailer does not reveal any details either, except that it offers “another overview of the world of the game”.

For what it is, the teaser gives an overview of the enlightened environments with Tokyo neon in the 1940s, as well as Daito’s work as a detective. He can apparently investigate objects and evidence, in the black, while beating thugs in the corners more in the corners of the city. A gameplay stroke shows that Daito can apparently show mercy (or not) to some of these thugs.
