Podcaster Joe Rogan said on Tuesday that two former unnamed presidents were involved in the demonstration against his skeptical discussions on COVID-19.
Spotify received a counterpoup in 2022 for allowing Rogan, one of his largest stars, to disseminate what progressive criticisms claimed were poor cocovio information. Musician Neil Young Famous deleted its content as a Spotify to protest against Rogan’s rhetoric, saying that he no longer wanted to share a platform with him.
“And then all of a sudden, I hear that Neil Young wants me to withdraw from Spotify. I said to myself:” What is the F — It’s crazy “” Rogan said Tuesday.
“Spotify has received calls from two former presidents,” he added.

The press secretary of the White House then, Jen Psaki, directly commented on the controversy. Founder and CEO of Spotify Daniel EK approached the decline against Rogan’s accommodation when calling the company’s results in February 2022.
“I think the important part here is that we do not change our policies according to a single creator, and we do not change it according to the media cycle,” said the CEO at the time. “Our policies have been carefully written with the contribution of many internal and external experts in this space – and I think they are correct for our platform.”
