“I feel like I live two different lives,” he said. “I’m a dad and a husband when I’m out of here, and then I am who I am when I’m here. It’s always nice to get out and feel a little normal.”
Mcilroy also discussed his frustration with the media and insisted that his position as one of the biggest names in golf for more than a decade should give him certain privileges.
“I feel like I have deserved the right to do what I want to do, yeah,” Mcilroy said.
