Russian drones hit the Ukrainian southern port city Odessa Overnight, killing two people and injuring at least 17, the Ukrainian authorities announced on Saturday. Meanwhile, three attack helicopters and an anti-aircraft missile system were destroyed in the Crimean Peninsula occupied by Russia.
The Ukraine Security Service Agency has deployed special drones to attack Kirovske military aerodrome, a Ukrainian security official said on Saturday.
“The available data indicate the destruction of versatile helicopters and attackers in mid-8, mid-26 and mid-28, as well as anti-aircraft missiles and self-propelled firearms,” according to the manager, who spoke of the operation provided anonymity.
In Odesa, a drone struck a residential block of the city, causing three -story damage and trapping residents, emergency services said. The two killed in the attack were a married couple, according to the regional governor Oleh Kiper, who added that three children were among the injured.
