Shamea Morton Reacts to Drew Sidora Working With Porsha Williams’ Ex

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Shamea Morton is ready to call out a girl code violation.

During season 16 of Bravo’s reality show, Drew Sidora will be put in the hot seat when some of her costars question her working relationship with Porsha Williams’ ex Dennis McKinley.

“I definitely needed to ask the conversation and not even for Porsha, because it was brought to me that, ‘Oh, you know your best friend’s man or her ex was out with this one and that one,’” Morton, 42, exclusively told Us Weekly on Wednesday, March 12. “And I’m like, ‘All right, well, what’s happening?’”

From Morton’s perspective, Williams, 43, wasn’t upset that Sidora, 39, was making music with McKinley, 44. Instead, other activities may have raised some eyebrows.

“She said her problem was the fact that she went to try to film with Dennis as well as try to do a photoshoot for her GoNaked Hair company,” Morton claimed. “That’s what kind of set her off. That’s what she says anyway. The bigger thing (for me) would be somebody working with my ex. We work together. You don’t need to go work with my child’s father.”

When asked if Sidora crossed a line by working so closely with McKinley, Morton said “absolutely.”

“Dennis has reached out to do music with me and TV and film projects, and I politely declined,” she told Us. “I’m not saying that he’s not talented and he’s not able. I’d rather not muddy the water.”

Williams and McKinley got engaged in September 2018, two months after the Bravo star learned she was expecting a baby girl named Pilar. The couple later made headlines when Williams discovered McKinley cheated on her while she was pregnant.

Despite an on-again, off-again relationship, the pair officially called it quits in 2020.

During the March 9 episode of The Real Housewives of AtlantaSidora said she gave a heads up to Williams before she started working with McKinley. In a confessional, however, Williams said all the “behind-the-scenes bulls—” was “crossing the line.”

Morton said all the drama could have likely been avoided if Sidora chose to collaborate with someone else.

“I’d rather just work with another professional,” Morton explained. “You’re Pilar’s dad. You are Porsha’s ex-fiancé, and there are boundaries that you just shouldn’t cross.”
