Studio555 announced today that it had raised 4 million euros, or around $ 4.6 million in a seed financing cycle. He plans to put this funding towards the creation of a playable application, a game experience focused on interior design. HOF Capital and Reckeup Ventures led La Ronde, with the participation of Timo Smentinen, co-founder of Small Giant Games; Mikko Kodisoja, co-founder of Supercell; and Riccardo Zacconi, co-founder of King.

The founders of Studio555 include the entrepreneur Joel Roos, now CEO, CTO Stina Larsson and CPO Axel Ullberger. The last two worked before King on the development of Candy Crush Saga. According to these founders, the development application combines interior design with the design and attraction of consumers of games and social applications. Users can create and design personal spaces without the need for technical expertise.

The team plans to launch the application next year and it plans to finance seeds to product development and develop its team. Roos said in a press release: “At the studio555, we will reinvent interior design as something that everyone can explore: open-end, fun and personal. We build an experience that we had always wanted: a space where creativity is practical, social and free from rigid rules. This funding is a major step in the promotion of a completely new category for creative expression. ”

The Timo Smentinen investor said in a press release: “Studio555 brings together game talents and a first -level design vision. This team has already built world successes, and now they apply this experience to something completely fresh – think of Pinterest in 3D meets Tiktok, but for interiors.
