Vance Boelter stopped after a two -day man hunting in the American state.
The suspect in the assassination of a legislator and the attempted assassination of another in Minnesota, the United States has been captured.
Vance Boelter, 57, was arrested Sunday following a two -day man hunt in the Midwest state, said law enforcement officials.
“The face of evil. After the relentless and determined police work, the killer is now in detention,” said the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Bureau in a social media position accompanied by a photo of Boelter in detention.
“Thanks to the dedication of several agencies working together with the support of the community, justice is a closer step.”
Boelter would have shot down two Democratic legislators and their spouses during a political motivation attack on Saturday morning.
Melissa Hortman, state representative, and her husband, Mark, were killed in the attack, while state senator John A Hoffman and his wife Yvette was injured.
Boelter faces two second degree murder leaders and two chiefs of attempted murder in the second degree, according to a criminal complaint not sealed on Sunday evening.
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz praised law enforcement agents for putting the suspect in police custody.
“You ran to danger and you served the state of Minnesota,” said Walz at a press conference.
