Syria: Extremist group claims Damascus attack

An extremist group linked to the Islamic State has claimed responsibility for a deadly attack in Damascus. The aggression involved two suicide bomber, none of whom were Syrian nationals. The two attackers were said to have been held in the past. The authorities remain concerned about the potential attacks targeting minorities, which causes increased security around places of worship.
