Syrian pro-Assad fighter jailed for life in Germany for crimes against humanity

A pro-Assad Syrian fighter was found guilty of crimes against humanity and imprisoned on Tuesday by a German court. Since the reversal of the Assad regime, the German authorities have continued several people suspected of civil war crimes in Syria.
