Teddi Mellencamp Gets A Gift From Someone She Least Expected

Mellencamp has received so much love from the Bravo Housewives family amid her recent health struggles.

However, although Kemsley hasn’t reached out to her, she received a surprise from someone she never expected to hear from.

On Thursday’s episode of Mellencamp and Tamra Judge’s “Two Ts in a Pod” podcast, the former shared details of a surprise delivery she received.

She shared per Toofab“So, I got a little delivery, which I want to point out. The first part of the delivery is this (Housewives) coloring book.”

Mellencamp added, “Erika (Jayne) and I looked at it yesterday because she was here when we were going through this package, so at least, they made me feel a little bit better.”

The former “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star revealed that the surprise gift she received was from “The Real Housewives of Orange County” alum Vicki Gunvalson.

Mellencamp expressed her gratitude for the gift, saying, “These are all very nice things to send.”

A letter accompanied the surprise gift Gunvalson sent to Mellencamp, who couldn’t believe her eyes.

She told Judge, “I was a little bit shocked when I opened the letter. (It read), ‘Teddi, we hope you know just how protected you are in prayers and positive energy, too.'”

The letter continued, “‘Without tests, we have no testimonials and your testimony will touch the lives of millions. We hope these things come in handy as you absolutely crush this, sending every ounce of our love.'”

Mellencamp found it hard to believe that Gunvalson was behind the letter and joked that she “needed to grab (her) glasses” to see that the former “RHOC” star and her podcast partner, Christian Gray Snow, signed it.

Mellencamp’s reason for being surprised at receiving a gift and a letter from Gunvalson isn’t far-fetched, as the pair haven’t had the best relationship over the years.

In the past, Gunvalson said on several occasions that she doesn’t fancy Mellencamp and once called her rude.

Hence, Mellencamp said about the gift from Gunvalson, “I thought there was a freaking typo or something. I’m not just gonna say this: I am very gracious.”

She thanked Gunvalson, saying, “Thank you, Vicki. It meant a lot (and) I really appreciate it. I just was shocked.”

However, while Mellencamp got a gift from someone she least expected, she is yet to hear from one of her best friends, Dorit Kemsley, and highlighted that fact.

She said, “I was like, ‘I haven’t heard from Dorit, but I’ve heard from Vicki Gunvalson.’ Dorit was one of my best friends and Vicki hates me with a burning passion.”

Mellencamp recently shared an update on her ongoing cancer treatment, revealing that despite undergoing surgery to remove multiple brain tumors, several still remain.

In an Instagram postMellencamp disclosed that she also has two tumors in her lung, all metastases of her melanoma. However, her doctors are optimistic that immunotherapy will effectively treat them.

Despite the difficult diagnosis, the television personality remains hopeful.

She shared a lighthearted moment, joking about remembering all of Angelina Jolie’s children’s names and declaring, “With all due… f-ck off, cancer!”

Her resilience and determination to fight the disease have inspired her fans and fellow Bravo stars.

Following her latest update, Mellencamp received an outpouring of support from fellow reality TV stars and fans.

“RHOBH” co-star Kyle Richards recalled Mellencamp naming Jolie’s kids after surgery, while Dorit Kemsley encouraged her to keep fighting. Cynthia Bailey, Emily Simpson, and Shanna Moakler also sent love and uplifting messages.

Mellencamp’s journey has been marked by multiple health setbacks. Earlier in February, she was hospitalized due to severe headaches, leading to the discovery of her brain tumors.

Though her surgery was successful, she acknowledged that the fight wasn’t over. Sharing her gratitude for her medical team, family, and friends, Mellencamp also updated fans on her recovery, revealing she had her staples removed and was preparing for radiation.

Despite the challenges, Mellencamp’s unwavering optimism and strength continue to inspire those around her.
