By radiating an ultra-latency live flow of his camera directly in a pair of glasses, a first-person drone (FPV) puts you right in the cockpit of a small agile plane capable of cringing in the smallest gaps and removing breathtaking movements like flips, cannon rolls, loops and vertical dives. These are not drones that you buy to obtain immaculate photos of large opening views to experiment (and document) a roller coaster tour inducing adrenaline through a tight environment and populated by an obstacle.
As such, piloting an FPV drone is a completely different fish kettle, entirely more difficult than piloting a standard camera drone. Not only do you lose the anti -rarar guarding rails used by many drones, but you fly at more speed, with less time to react. The DJI Avata 2 (8/10, recommend wire) Reduces skills requirements to a more suitable level for beginners, while capturing video at 4K / 60 IPS or 2.7K / 120 IPS. Although it does not have an automatic avoidance of obstacles, the avata 2 movement controller and the capacity to brake and hover quickly in an outdoor makes it much more forgiven than the complete manual manual controls used by most FPV drones.
The Avata 2 glasses are also fantastic, associated with the drone and delivering a crystalline image through its pair of micro OLED screens. They are even comfortable for those who have a bad view, like me, thanks to eyepieces that can be adjusted for the inter-pupillary distance and a diopter to correct the vision.
I would complete piloting the avata 2 to cycle with the training wheels, because there are certain movements that you cannot remove with the movement controller, such as steep dives, where the engines have completely cut and the drone falls like a stone. If you want to perform these risky waterfalls, the Gamepad style DJI Remote Controller 3 is available in faculty.
