The 2009 Sitcom “Cougar Town” was never a massive estimate; It was constantly on the verge of cancellation as ABC pulled the lead after season 3 and TBS rose and then pulled the lead again during the 6 season. It’s just one of many examples of how “community” writers (and I think “Cougar Town” writers) love to commit to the part. This scene is not sensible for viewers who did not know the “community”, but both exhibitions went through the connection simply because they liked it to be cool. The fact that the entire scene takes place by metro (a sandwich chain restaurant a great importance of “community”) makes it just cooler.
