Devil IV is in the process of competing in a demo way since the liberation of the Major extension last fall. The seasonal model generally brings updates and temporary game stories, but when season 9 arrives on July 1, it will add some useful Changes. First, the console players get handling of mouse and keyboard orders. Second, there will be new additions to nightmare dungeons.
The end of the game of Devil IV involves a lot of grinding nightmare dungeons, so even with a good dose of procedural generation, the landscape of these challenges begins to feel too familiar. Season 9 will add new wrinkles to the sets of tiles. The Horadriques forts are micro-donjons in the nightmare dungeon which offer large potential awards as well as a buff for the rest of the main dungeon. The growing nightmares are a trio of dungeons in growing challenges, and when they are addressed to the difficulty of the torment, they conclude with a riff on the Boss of Astaroth fight.
It will be Before the developers provide another extension on the scale of the hate ship, but Blizzard has provided new twists and turns each season for players who record hundreds of hours Devil IV. The permanent additions of season 9, which also include new Dungeon affixes, could help keep things difficult and interesting for the hardcore fans of the game.
