President Trump will interrupt his trip to Canada for a meeting with world leaders and will return to Washington on Monday evening, said press secretary Karoline Leavitt, citing “what is happening in the Middle East”.
Trump arrived in Canada on Sunday for the G7 annual summit and met the leaders of Canada and the United Kingdom earlier on Monday. But Leavitt told X on Monday evening that the president would leave early, seeming to refer to the Israeli-Iranian conflict.
