According to rescuers and hospitals, at least 46 people waiting for help were killed by Israeli fire in two incidents in the center and south of Gaza.
The United Nations agencies condemned the food distribution system supported by the United States and Israel, an official calling it “an abomination” and “a death trap”.
Such fatal incidents have recently become an almost daily event, but have attracted relatively little attention outside Gaza since Israel attacked Iran more than a week ago.
Without including the latest deaths, the UN said that more than 410 Palestinians were killed by Israeli shots or bombing since the Gaza Humaninian Foundation (GHF) began working at the end of May.
“Why is the life of our children considered so cheap?” demanded Umm Raed al-Nuaizi, a widow whose son was injured by ball after spending the night to recover food for his hungry family in the center of Gaza.
“My son went to get a grain of flour so that he could eat and feed his brothers and sisters, and now he is in the intensive care unit.”
Images of the Al-Awda hospital in Nuseirat have shown chaotic scenes because young men suffering from gunshot wounds were transported, moaning with pain and a little soaked with blood.
Soon each bed was filled and the victims covered the ground.
An older man was died while his wife, devoid, rocked his face and cried.
Hospital officials and the Civil Defense Agency led by Hamas said that at least 21 people had been killed and around 150 injured.
Witnesses said thousands of people had grown near a site managed by the GHF in an Israeli military area when the soldiers opened fire.
Israeli defense forces (FDI) said that a rally had been “identified in an area adjacent to the TSAhal troops operating in the Netzarim corridor”.
“Reports of people injured following an FDI fire in the region have been received. The details are being examined,” he said.
The GHF said that there was “no incident near our sites this morning”.
Paramedical paramedics and rescuers said that at least 25 people were also killed near a site managed by GHF in southern Gaza on Tuesday morning.
A witness told the BBC that he had gone to a site north of Rafah at 5:00 am, but shortly before it was open at 10:00 am, Israeli tanks moved to them and opened fire without ad.
“The shooting was directly on civilians and the blood was everywhere,” said Hatem Abu Rjileh.
“Everyone around us was injured, there can be more than 30 injured than no one could save. We only managed to save our parent and leave him with him.”
The FDI told the BBC that “unlike the distributed reports, the FDI was not aware of the incident in question on the Rafah Aid distribution site”.
Israel released its total blockade of Gaza just over a month ago, and the GHF began its operations a few days later. The group says that it has since provided 41 million meals.
Although the GHF is officially classified as a private organization, it has opaque funding and is supported by the United States and Israel. He uses armed private security entrepreneurs.
The UN and the main aid groups refused to cooperate with the Foundation, accusing it of cooperating with the objectives of Israel in the 20 -month war against Hamas in a way that violates humanitarian principles.
However, Israel considers GHF as the key to a new aid plan which, according to her, will undermine what remains of the control of Hamas in Gaza.
While the news of the latest incidents has broken, a spokesperson for the United Nations Human Rights Office, Thameen al-Kheetan, organized a briefing in Geneva sentenced the system.
“The militarized humanitarian assistance mechanism of Israel is in contradiction with international standards on the distribution of aid,” he said.
“The armament of food for civilians, in addition to restricting or preventing their access to survival services is a war crime.”
He added that it was for the courts to decide whether war crimes had been committed.
Speaking to Berlin journalists, Philippe Lazzarini, the head of the United Nations Agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA), said: “The newly created mechanism is an abomination that humiliates and degrades desperate people. It is a death trap that costs more life than that.”
Asked a response to recent UN criticisms, the FDIs told the BBC that it allowed the GHF “to operate independently in the distribution of assistance to residents of Gaza and works to ensure its safe and continuous distribution, in accordance with international law”.
Israel’s idea for a new war phase in Gaza, advanced several weeks ago, did not take place.
This involved the GHF performing the only aid distribution points.
For the moment, Israel still authorizes dozens of trucks carrying help with the UN and certain other Assistance organizations in Gaza.
On Saturday, World Central Kitchen said that Aid Lorries had reached its teams in Gaza for the first time in more than 12 weeks, allowing it to restart the kitchen to some of its sites.
However, the volume of food is still inadequate and experts warn that Gaza remains on the brink of famine.
In Gaza City, a father of four daughters told us that his family had used bread and salt, but that he would not risk his life to go to the GHF aid centers.
“They are called death zones,” said Mahmoud al-Ghura. “My son has already been martyred.”
“I am afraid that if I was going to take a bag of flour, I would come back transported in one. Every day, people go there and die. What should we do?”
