US legislators, Trump administration officials and Jewish groups were one of those who condemned the terrorist attack who made eight people injured Boulder, ColoradoSunday, calling him a “monstrous attack” and an “act of vile anti -Semitism”.
Mohamed Sabry Soliman, 45, was arrested at the scene, after allegedly set fire to the victims when they gathered peacefully on behalf of the Israeli hostages still held by Hamas in Gaza. Soliman was heard shouting “free from Palestine” and other criticisms of Israel during the attack.
Soliman, an Egyptian national, entered the United States in 2022 with authorization, but has since exceeded his visa, according to the authorities. The local and federal police continue to investigate the attack.
“My thoughts and prayers go to people who have been injured by this odious and targeted act on the Jewish community,” said the Democratic Governor of Colorado, Jared Polis, who is Jewish, in a statement. “Boulder is strong. We have overcome the tragedies together and we will reach it together as a community.”

“While the Jewish community decreases recent anti-Semitic murders in Washington, DC, it is unfathomable that the community will be confronted with another anti-Semitic attack here in Boulder on the eve of the Shavuot festival,” he continued. “Several individuals have been brutally attacked while peacefully drawing attention to the fate of hostages that were held by Hamas terrorists for 604 days. Hatred is unacceptable in our Colorado for all, and I condemn this act of terror. The suspect should be continued to the extent of the law.”
The governor said that he was working closely with local and federal police after Sunday’s attack. The attorney general of Colorado Democrat Phil Weiser, who is also Jewish, said that the attack seems to have been motivated by hatred.
The Democrats of Colorado. Michael Bennet and John Hickenlooper both criticized the attack as a demonstration of hatred against the Jewish community.
“My thoughts concern the victims of the horrible terrorist attack that occurred this afternoon in Boulder,” said Bennet. “Hatred and violence of all kinds will not be tolerated in Colorado.”
“Hatred of all kinds has no house in Colorado,” wrote Hickenlooper. “We are monitoring the reports of a horrible terrorist attack in Boulder this afternoon. Our thoughts are with the victims and their loved ones.”
The head of the Senate minority, Chuck Schumer, Dn.y., who is Jewish, described the attack as a “act of terror vile and anti -Semite” and stressed that anti -Semitism “has no place in America.”
“Less than two weeks after the horrible anti -Semitic attack at Capitol Jewish Museum at DC – and after two incessant years of anti -Semitic attacks across the country – the Jewish community is again broken by pain and sorrow,” said Schumer in a statement. “Tonight, a peaceful demonstration was targeted in an act of vile and anti -Semitic terror.

“When anti-Semitism is allowed to be able to escalate, when it spreads without control, and when too looks in the other direction, history has shown us where it leads: to hatred, to violence, to terror,” he continued. “Tonight, it’s Shavuot – a sacred party of learning, renewal and unity. Thousands of Jews from around the world will wake up with this horrible news, just as they did after October 7. For many, it was more than 600 days of fear and implacable trauma.”
Schumer added: “Anti -Semitism, simple and simple, has no place in America. I pray for the recovery of the victims and I am in contact with the FBI while we closely monitor the situation.”
Chamber Mike Johnson, R-La., Said that “the violent and anti-Semitic attack is heartbreaking and deeply disturbing” and that he prays for the victims and for the police “to make justice fast”.
“Terrorist sympathizers have clearly indicated that they would do everything to try to silence the Jewish people and those who support Israel,” wrote Johnson. “We cannot and will not let them win.”
The chief of the minority of Hakeem Jeffries, DN.Y., said that the Jewish community in America has once again become the target of a horrible anti -Semitic attack. “”
“While the residents of Boulder gathered on the eve of the Shavuot holidays to educate the hostages to be detained in Gaza, the tranquility of their assembly was broken,” he said. “Our sincere prayers are with all our Jewish brothers and sisters affected by this unreasonable act of terror, and we thank the police for their rapid response. Anti -Semitism has no place in our nation or everywhere in the world.
The mayor of New York, Eric Adams, described the attack as “horrible act and anti -Semitism and terrorism”.

“Another act of horrible and vile anti -Semitism and terrorism in our country, while an individual violently attacked a peaceful crowd in Boulder, Colorado, gathered to ask for the release of hostages still detained in Gaza since the terrorist attacks of Hamas on October 7, 2023,” said the Democrat mayor. “Although we saw no link in New York for the moment, the NYPD increases the resources on the religious sites of our city before the sacred holidays of Shavuot of an abundance of prudence. We will not rest until we have rooted this unacceptable violence and rhetoric of our communities.”
Several Officials of the Trump administration condemned the attack and gave updates to federal surveys.
“We know and fully investigate a targeted terrorist attack in Boulder, Colorado,” said FBI director Kash Patel. “Our local agents and the police are already on the stage, and we will share updates as more information becomes available.”
“DHS monitors the terrorist attack in Boulder, Colorado,” said the secretary of the Ministry of Homeland Security Kristi Noem. “We are working with our interinousness partners, including the FBI, and will share more information as soon as it is available. We pray for the victims and their families. This violence must stop.”
Stephen Miller, deputy chief of staff of the White House to advise the internal security and security advisor, said he was praying “for the victims of the evil and monstrous attack in Boulder, Colorado”.
On Sunday, various Jewish groups also sounded after the attack of Colorado, with Elan Carr, CEO of the Israeli-American Council saying that it was a “horrible attack on peaceful demonstrators who walked in a march to commemorate and demand the release of hostages”.

“I do not suggest that the answer is censorship, but we must understand that the hateful words that diabolize the Jews encourage people to take violent measures and to commit murder,” Carr at Fox News Digital. “We have seen it repeatedly, and it happened today, and it happened a few days ago, and if we did not stop that, it will happen again. It is an absolute outrage that we have people who are poisoned by a vicious ideology.”
The American Jewish Committee said that the incident represented “another vile attacking the Jews in America”.
“Less than two weeks after the horrible DC murders, a Colorado striker launched a group calling for the liberation of the 58 Israeli hostages who were held by terrorists in Gaza for 604 days,” the group said in a statement. “This hatred is a dangerous poison, and we need everyone to hold us with us.
