If you’ve been watching “Emily in Paris” from the beginning, you will know Camille Delalissa, one of the main characters in Camille Razat. Originally, a handsome chef Gabriel (Lucas Bravo), a neighbor and again, again, re -based Paramouri of the title Emily Cooper (Lily Collins). After four seasons, Razat and his character with whom he shares the first name will leave the show … though maybe not good.
In Instagram message on April 23, 2025Razat sent a collection of photos set up, including a caption explained by his choice. “After an incredible trip, I decided to step out of Emily Paris,” Razat wrote. “It has been a truly great experience full of growth, creativity and unforgettable memories. I’m deeply grateful [showrunner and creator Darren Star] And the whole team [Netflix] and [Paramount] Because of their confidence and giving me the opportunity to bring Cam to life and leave the door open his return because he is always part of Emily’s world of Paris. This character has meant a lot to me, and I feel that his story has naturally ended. It felt like a moment to explore new horizons. “
After saying that he wrapped the shooting for two other shows – “genius” for Netflix and “Lost Station Girls” Disney+, especially – and founded my own production company Tazar Productions, Razat concluded: “I only leave the exhibition and admire to actors, crew and fans.
In an interview DeadlineStar himself said of Razat’s departure: “I think his story was a natural finish.” However, as Razat said, Camille’s story is relatively open from the end of the season 4, so it is still quite possible that Razat could return. How exactly does Camille’s story turn so naturally in “Emily in Paris”? I will explain.
I mentioned that when we first meet Camille Razat, the properly called Camille “Emily in Paris”, she is a Gabriel’s girlfriend who originally puts her as Emily’s enemies (mainly because the sparks are flying between Emily and Gabriel at this stage). To say this, the show pulls a familiar movement when it introduces to Camille at first, he only looks like a Parise who wants to show the newcomer in the French capital of Emily; Then Emily realizes that Camille’s often mentioned boyfriend is his hot neighbor Gabriel.
After the dally between Emily and Gabriel, Camille suddenly breaks their friendship with both, but because problems rarely remain in as fluffy exhibition as “Paris Emily”, it is leveled and everything is fine. By season 4 of the exhibition, Cam, who fled his own wedding to Gabriel, claiming that he was still in love with Emily, is happily dating with the artist (Melia Kreiling) artist called Sofia Sideris … except for one important thing. Camille, as he says, is pregnant.
Except … he’s not! Camille believes he was pregnant at first, but after a doctor’s visit, he learns that the medication produced the wrong positive. Still, Camille continues to fake pregnancy to stay close to Gabriel, which seems particularly important to his relationship after breaking down Sophia and the artist goes home to Athens. In the end, Emily and Gabriel – who eventually start officially, after dating a lot of push and pull – divided into his constant relationship with Camille, he admits to Gabriel that pregnancy is fake, but suggests that these two adopted, even though Gabriel is not interested. Two parts, and Cami moves from Paris, even though his destination is unknown.
Camille razat and Darren Star, the latter of which also created a similar empty “… and just like” “ They are both right: Camille Razat or Camille Delalissa no longer has “Emily in Paris”. The problem is that there was never anything interesting for him to do in the first place. I’ve talked about this before: “Emily in Paris” is a show completely and completely devoid of stakesNormal narrative structure or proper character development, so Cami is mostly a vehicle for crazy hats and foreign costumes. (( one The exception is when the show in the second season – when Emily and Gabriel slept together – Camille writes a great letter to Emily that calls the former patty “illiterate sociopath” And he has the right to do so! Honestly, this may be the best moment Full show.In
The good Actors end up stuck in “Emily in Paris” all too often-like a fine philippine Leroy-Beuleuu, whose Sylvie should get her own Show or Ashley Park that should have got a lot more game canceled-to-Iso-series “Girls5va” Instead of this inclination – and it’s great to see Razat liberated from the constant terrorism of interpersonal relationships. “Emily in Paris” streams on Netflix now (BOF if you want).
