WWE: Night of Champions 2025 results: Cody Rhodes, Jade Cargill leave big winners

The King and the Queen of the Ring Tournaments finals ended WWE on Saturday Night of the Champions In Saudi Arabia, and he came with major issues attached.

Cody Rhodes defeated Randy Orton on the side of men, and Jade Cargill beat Asuka in the female support.

“The American Nightmare” pushed Orton into the exposed tensioner and put it in the Rhodes cross. He pinned Orton for the victory and received the crown.

Asuka almost had the storm that Cargill brought to Riyadh. She had Cargill in a submission, but Cargill was able to get out and free herself. Cargill interrupted “Empress” by Asuka and struck it with “Jaded”.

Rhodes and Cargill both have world title shots in Summerslam guaranteed with their King victories and Queen of the Ring Tournament.

Rhodes should face John Cena in the revenge match of Wrestlemania 41 for the undisputed WWE championship. Cena beat CM Punk to keep the title early in the night. Cena and Punk have thwarted the attempted liquidity of Seth Rollins. But Rollins had the last laugh when he trampled on the punk, lowering him out of a title.

Cargill will target either Tiffany Stratton or Iyo Sky for their female titles. Stratton hung on to his belt on “Friday Night Smackdown” in a victory against Nia Jax in a last standing match. Sky resumed gold in March with a victory over Rhea Ripley. All women must also have Naomi in the background of their minds when she won the match for women’s money.
