Authorities have arrested Yella Beezy in connection to the fatal shooting of rapper Mo3.

Details On Yella Beezy’s Arrest

TMZ reports that police took Yella Beezy, aka Markies Conway into custody in Dallas, Texas, on Thursday, March 20. Court documents obtained by the outlet state that Yella intentionally and knowingly caused the death of Mo3, whose real name was Melvin Noble, on November 11, 2020. Mo3 reportedly gained recognition for his 2018 hit single, ‘Errybody.’

CBS adds that Yella Beezy is accused of allegedly hiring Kewon White to carry out Mo3’s murder in exchange for payment. Authorities state that after this agreement, White reportedly used a firearm to murder Mo3.

Per Fox4Newsinvestigators revealed that Mo3 was in his car on a Texas interstate when White approached wearing a ski mask and holding a firearm. Police also state that Mo3 attempted to flee on foot after noticing White, but White ultimately shot him multiple times in the back. Additionally, Fox4News reports that authorities arrested White one month after the incident and charged him with murder. He is reportedly serving a nine-year prison sentence for firearm-related offenses linked to the shooting.

At this time, Yella Beezy remains in Dallas County Jail, according to CBS. Officials have not yet shared any details about his bond or any pending charges against him.

Yella Beezy had a previous encounter with the law in 2021 when TSR reported his arrest on three charges: sexual assault, abandoning an endangered child, and unlawfully carrying a weapon. However, authorities dismissed those charges in 2022.
