Now that the Christmas season is behind us, the 15 best movies and TV shows on Hulu The board is devoid of holiday movies and TV shows.
Instead, the #1 new movie on Hulu is a horror film that hasn’t had much success in theaters.
This film is one of Watch with us‘s picks for three popular Hulu movies and TV shows to watch this weekend.
Our remaining picks include a series with a very familiar name as well as an underrated action comedy from 2025.
“The Strangest Things” (2021 – 2025)
The strangest things may have a name that resembles the iconic Netflix series, but that’s the only real similarity between the two. This is a History Channel show dedicated to examining bizarre and enigmatic historical artifacts. One of the things this exhibition brings is the ability to examine these objects in greater depth using computer scans and 3D images.
Only the third season is currently on Hulu, and some of the topics covered include the famous Shroud of Turin, an unusual statue on Easter Island that stands out from the rest, and a rock that could hold the key to solving an American mystery that dates back centuries. When we approach these parts of history, definitive answers are often elusive. But at least we can understand the questions better.

This may sound like a relationship goal, but it’s something much more insidious. Due to their nighttime ordeal in the wilderness, Tim and Millie physically merge when they spend too much time in contact with each other. Keeping their distance won’t help them either, because they feel something powerful drawing them together that can’t be denied. There’s nowhere to run from this problem, and they may not be able to do much if they can’t find a way to break their connection.

“London Calling” (2025)
Josh Duhamel headlines 2025 action comedy Call to London as Tommy Ward, an assassin whose vision problems have landed him in hot water. In his final move, Tommy accidentally killed the wrong man, who turned out to be a relative of crime boss Freddy Darby (Aidan Gillen). To escape, Tommy had to leave London and his son behind.
While hiding in Los Angeles under the employ of a local criminal, Benson (Rick Hoffman), Tommy is given the impossible task of enabling Benson’s son, Julian (Jeremy Ray Taylor), on his next assassinations. Julian is very excited to join Tommy because he wants to prove himself to his father. But that only makes Tommy’s life more difficult, especially when Freddy Darby comes seeking revenge.
