Miter brings back the iconic Ultimax ball to celebrate its 30th anniversary

First launched in 1995, the Miter Ultimax ball quickly became a defining symbol of English football. Featured on Premier League pitches throughout the 1990s, it made history as the first football to break the 100 mph speed barrier..

Now, 30 years later, Miter has reinvented the legendary ball, bringing it back with a modern twist.

The new Ultimax Pro 30th Anniversary ball fuses classic design with cutting-edge technology, celebrating its iconic status while setting a new standard for the next generation.

Although the ball retains the familiar 6-panel construction, classic white, blue and red colors and the unmistakable crown logo, it has been enhanced with advanced features. Hyperflow grooves reduce drag and a sleek pearlescent finish offers a nod to traditional 30th anniversary gifts. The interior also sees improvements, with Hyperfoam cushioning now improved for cleaner hits and even more power.

To mark this milestone, Miter launched ‘The Next In Line’ campaign, highlighting the new wave of football talent carrying on their family legacy.

The campaign features rising stars such as Raphaella Wright-Phillips, granddaughter of Arsenal icon Ian Wright, Ruben Butt, son of Manchester United legend Nicky Butt, and Jacob Fowler, whose father is Liverpool’s Robbie Fowler.

The trio, each in vintage 95/96 kits, embodies the link between past and future – just like the new Ultimax Pro itself.
