Newcastle make a change, replacing Harvey Barnes with Jacob Murphy in attack.

Defenders Dan Burn (ribs/punctured lung) as well as Emil Krafth and Jamaal Lascelles (both knees) remain injured.

Forward William Osula has an ankle problem but defenders Kieran Trippier (hamstring), Sven Botman (back) and Tino Livramento (knee) return to the bench.

Winger Anthony Elanga also has a knee problem.

Midfielder Cheick Doucouré (knee) and attackers Caleb Kporha (back) and Rio Cardines (muscular) are also absent. Midfielder Daichi Kamada is expected to be out until February with a hamstring problem.
