Amy Schumer Start the new year with a positive and healthy mindset.
THE A little pregnant star, 44, took Instagram on Sunday, January 4, to show off her recent weight loss, sharing a series of photos of herself wearing swimsuits and other form-fitting clothing.
“My mom took these photos of me while I was planning my trip and the last photo of this trip. This year is all about self care and self love. No makeup. No filter,” she captioned the carousel. “Let’s all enjoy our health, our families, our friends, and have the best year of our lives. Let’s move forward with no regrets. Just love.”
In the first snap, Schumer wore a strapless red bikini top with matching high-waisted red bottoms. She held one hand on her hip while smiling at the camera. The second photo showed her in a black one-piece, and subsequent shots captured her in a two-piece black bikini and a two-tone spaghetti strap one-piece that was snapped from behind.
Remaining shots from the series showed the comedian wearing two dresses, loungewear and a sweater paired with oversized sunglasses.
The post comes less than a week after Schumer shared a mirror selfie while wearing a black Skims bodysuit, and just weeks after revealing she had lost 50 pounds in recent months.
Speaking candidly via a since-deleted Instagram Story shared in December 2025, Schumer gave insight into her weight loss journey, which was sparked by the desire to “survive.”

I had a disease that makes your face extremely bloated and can kill you, but the internet caught it and the disease went away.”
Schumer’s post appeared to refer to her in February 2024 Cushing’s syndrome diagnosis, a disorder caused by the body producing too much of the hormone cortisol over a long period of time, according to the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The organization’s website states that symptoms of Cushing’s syndrome can include weight gain, a round face and easy bruising, while the problems caused can range from blood clots to high blood pressure and high cholesterol levels.
The message continues: “Sorry for how you feel about losing this weight. I have had plastic surgery over the years and use Mounjaro. Sorry to anyone who disappoints you.” (Mounjaro is a medication commonly used to treat diabetes that also causes dramatic weight loss.)
Schumer also noted that his weight loss mission was not the result of his separation from an ex-husband Chris Fischerwhich was publicly announced by Schumer in December 2025. The couple had been married for seven years and shared a son, 6-year-old Gene.
The split was confirmed via a since-deleted Instagram post shared by Schumer on December 12. “Blah blah blah Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years,” Schumer captioned the post which featured a throwback photo of the former couple on a New York City train. “We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son. We would appreciate if people respect our privacy at this time.”
