Jaime Kingrecent reported sightings of with a hotelier Vikram Chatwal were not romantic, a representative of Hart of Dixie an elder tells exclusively Us every week.
Following reports that King, 46, and Chatwal, 54, were spotted together in Los Angeles, King’s rep tells Us that the two are “just friends.”
“They were at a business meeting,” the spokesperson said, noting that King was “very happy in her relationship” with her fiancé. Austin Sosa.
Clarification comes after Page six reported on Monday, January 5, that King and Vikram — who is the son of hotelier Sant Singh Chatwal — were recently spotted getting cozy together at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles. They were also reportedly seen together at Bombay Palace restaurant, which was first opened by Vikram’s father.
Vikram was previously married to a socialite Priya Sachdev from 2006 to 2011.
For his part, King became engaged to investment banker Sosa in July, his representative confirmed to People at the time.

“I feel like my engagement is about myself, in the best way,” King said. We in October 2025. “For me, engagement is really about self-love.”

King also instantly recalled knowing Sosa was The One when they “met through mutual friends” in December 2024.
“When I saw him, I was like, ‘You’re going to be my boyfriend.’ He says, “Wait, what? “, she explained. “I think it shook him up a little bit. And then the second time, I was like, ‘You’re going to be my boyfriend.’ Which is such a stupid thing to say. It seems so childish, but I just watched [at him]I was like, ‘Oh, no, this is going to be my person.’
King added that she was attracted to Sosa because of their shared values.
“Love for me isn’t just a romantic thing. It’s seeing someone and saying, ‘Oh, they’re going to support me and I’m going to support them, and we’re going to have fun together. We’re going to take care of each other,'” she explained. “There’s loyalty. There’s just an integrity about him that’s rare.”
While King is excited to spend her life with Sosa, she revealed that she doesn’t want to jump straight into planning her wedding. Instead, she chose to prioritize her sons, James Knight, 12, and Leo Thames, 10, whom she shares with her ex-husband. Kyle Newman. (The couple settled their divorce in 2023.)
“My main focus is on them,” the mother of two continued. “So my main goal is not necessarily to plan an extravaganza. My goal is to relax with them, enjoy my time with them. Enjoy their time with Austin and our other friends who love them so dearly. It would be too singular to just talk about a wedding.”
King added, “My whole life, all I wanted was to have a family unit, to get married, to have a partnership, you know, to be useful in that way. That’s very important to me. I’m eclectic and traditional at the same time. And so, that honestly matters to me. My intention is to walk through this world with extraordinary joy and camaraderie and unity. And the way I experience that is with my children and within my family.”
